Finally got a chance to make another blog post!!

This was a fun photo shoot!!  Were were doing a Mad Men themed photo shoot.  We had an awesome location at the Casino San Clemente.

I did the makeup for these two girls and also did the makeup for all the men!!  I love how these photos turned out.

Makeup for All

So I have been super busy working on all kinds of photoshoots!!  Sorry I have slacked off on my blog!!!
I am going to start where I left off and keep adding posts untill I catch up!!

So as some of you know I spent about 6 weeks in an intensive training class for my makeup career.
I'm happy to say that I have completed that course and am ready to move on to actually making something out of it!!

Tip of the Week... Weddings

Wedding season is around the corner! So while most women would love to have their makeup done professionally its understandable in this economy that some of you are choosing to save dollars and do it yourselves. So here is one tip that is extremely important ! 

While there are so many different brands and formulas of foundations to choose from you could get lost trying to decide. So first of all make sure your foundation is NOT mineral make-up. The minerals in these products will reflect from the flash of the camera causing the skin on your face to be whiter then the rest of your body!  Other ingredients that cause this include SPF, titanium dioxide, mica, zinc, paba.

Read the ingredients!! If your unsure of a certain ingredient look it up. 

Every woman wants to look the beautiful especially on
their wedding day so be aware of what your using!!

You can always ask questions if your unsure :)

Tip of the Week

Wearing moisturizer underneath your foundation will allow your make-up to go on more even and smooth.  Wear a thicker formula in the winter time to help with dehydration caused by cold wind and heaters.
During the summer switch to a lightweight formula.

I use Dermalogica active moist in the summer and Dermalogica super rich in the winter.

My Website

All day yesterday I spent the day with my cousin and aunt working on my website.

There were a lot of ideas flying around, but we finally came up with something super cute.

When I come to do your make-up this is the big bag of tricks I use.

We took some creative pictures of my make-up for the site.

Here is the final layout for the website, its not live yet but it will be soon.
